This page is for displaying our written stories/articles/poetry/etc... These are otherwise known as blog "posts". In other words, these are written items that are longer than the little "updates" we write on the activity page and are not meant for the discussion forum. These blog posts can be works-in-progress, we can use posts to get our ideas written down and saved as drafts; we don't have to "publish" them to the group/world until we are ready.

Create A Blog Post: if you have article(s) you would like to start writing go to grey bar above to "dashboard" and click "new post". Under "dashboard" you can also manage (edit) your previous posts (articles)! On your post page, the first space is for the title of your article, then you can write your content in the larger space below the formatting control panel. Don't be scared to play around with it, its a little different than Microsoft Word, but very similar in the end. On the page to create a article/post, remember to hit the "save draft" or "publish" buttons on the right before leaving the page!

Email me if you have questions...I can help you with formatting tips and how to add pictures, etc..when you are ready to publish, these articles can be posted on facebook and the like as our own blog stories. Eventually these will be searchable in google as an article by you.

4th of July Story from ½ Way Around the World

Last 4th of July I was in Da Nang City in Viet Nam. I had just arrived a few weeks before with my dear partner Diane for our 4 month humanitarian adventure. We had come to Da Nang to learn how the Vietnamese and their NGOs (international and non-governmental humanitarian organizations) partners were working with people with disabilities in Da Nang, Viet Nam.
